Novias de Mexico
Novias de México is a folklórico cultural showcase celebrating regional Mexican traditions through scenes of romance. Sept 5, 7 PM at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex (LA)—tickets on Ticketmaster.
Every performance is a celebration—of growth, of heritage, of community coming together. Come witness the magic our dancers create.
There’s a moment just before the music starts—when the lights dim, the audience settles, and our dancers take their places. It’s a moment charged with weeks of rehearsal, years of training, and generations of tradition.
Then the first note sounds, and everything comes alive.
At CALIACA, we believe performance isn’t just about showcasing skill—it’s about sharing something meaningful. When our Ballet Folklórico Rey Colimán dancers sweep across the stage, they carry the stories, rhythms, and pride of Mexican heritage forward. When our FADS dancers take the spotlight, they bring the energy, versatility, and bold creativity of a new generation.
Every show is an invitation: to witness transformation, to feel the pulse of community, and to celebrate the young artists who pour their hearts into every step.
We hope you’ll join us.

There’s nothing quite like the moment the music swells and our dancers take the stage. It’s where months of practice become art. Where tradition meets tomorrow. Where community gathers to celebrate what our young people can do when they’re supported, encouraged, and given a stage to shine.
We can’t wait to share that moment with you.
